Video Search/Display "Ticker"

A very popular search tool on the Windows on Maine website is the Video Ticker. This Flash-based interface displays as a horizontal film strip floating above the website, with a slider control and Play/Pause buttons below. The ticker displays random thumbnails of videos from the website and scrolls them slowly across the horizontal film strip.

Scroll speed and direction are controlled by the slider, which has a spring feel to it, and "snaps" back to the center when released. Clicking a thumbnail displays the video and information about it in detailed search results.
