Zati Mask

Handwoven sculptural masks as fiber art and performance art

Autograff built this site for Zati Mask back in 2001, and it remains a compelling vehicle for this innovative artist whose work is collected and exhibited in the US and abroad. The masks are hand woven flat, then taken off the loom and manipulated to form three-dimensional faces. The face is felted onto a headdress and decorated.
