Securing Your Business on the Web
A Seminar for Small Business and Microbusiness
Securing Your Business on the Web is an illustrated seminar for non-technical people on the essentials of doing business on the web, even if you don't have an online store.
Busy business owners: get clear, practical advice and simple, hands-on solutions for issues surrounding the security of doing business on the internet.
Securing Your Business on the Web demystifies the technology of the internet so businesspeople can understand the challenges and make solid decisions.
Offered in 1-2 hour or half-day sessions. The half-day seminar provides more detail on internet business and security issues, in addition to allowing more chance for discussion and questions.
This seminar is NOT about technical issues, firewalls, server administration, or encryption. There's no mind-numbing techno-speak. We deal with day-to-day security issues for non-technical business users of the internet, with practical approaches to resolving them.
About the Presenter
Richard Merrill, small business owner and web developer, has been involved with technology since his days creating technical illustrations and designing aerospace cameras in the Route 128 high-tech belt in the 70s.
